Obituary

Jean Howell, 87, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Russ Panzer and Rev. Ted Wilson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held Friday evening, April 29th from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Kornerstone.

Jean Howell was born March 14, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas to R.D. and Ethel White. She grew up in Sinton, Texas and attended schools in this area. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio and majored in Art and a minor in education. She was a teacher for over 37 years and loved every student she taught. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Handbells and Chancel Choir. She was also a member of the Disciple Sunday school class.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Howell; daughter, Cindi Howell; son, Patrick Howell and wife Amy; grandchildren, Matthew Howell and wife Kylie, Zach Howell and Jillian Howell; and great grandson, Benjamin Howell.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
