Obituary

Martin "Marty" Mata, 29 passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Plainview First Assembly in Plainview, Texas. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas.

Martin was born on June 11, 1992 in Plainview, Texas to David & Alicia Mata. He married Desiree Valenzuela on August 13, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alicia Mata.

Martin is survived by his wife, Desiree Mata; two children, Domryn Mata and Maiya Jo Mata; his father, David Mata; two brothers, David Mata, Jr. and Andrew Mata and one sister, Sarah Mata.
