Obituary

Elizabeth Charlene Brandes Clark, 75, of Plainivew, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Elizabeth was born November 27,1945 in El Paso, Texas to James and Flora Brandes. She graduated from Plainview High School and attended Texas Women’s University for one year. She married David Arnold Clark on January 30, 1965 in Plainview, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, James Mickey Brandes and John Charles Brandes.

She is survived by her daughters, Tonja Gray of Abilene, Mechelle Clark of Plainview; a son, David “D.J.” Clark of Lubbock; two sisters, her twin Helen Scott of Dallas, Eloise Hood of Bay City; two grandchildren, Charlene Chambless of Tyler, Alecia Mire of Katy and two great grandchildren, J.J. and Audrey Chambless.
