Obituary

Luther Morales, 70, of Plainview passed away on August 30, 2021. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Kornerstone Chapel.

He was born September 19, 1950 in Anson, Texas to Demencio and Paubla (Rodriguez) Morales. He married Maria Enriquez on June 3, 1972 in Plainview. He retired from Cargill Meat Solutions.

He is survived by his wife Maria Morales of Plainview; his children, Krystal Gill and husband Manuel of Plainview, Damian Morales and wife Rosalinda of Amarillo, Christopher Morales and wife Rebecca of Lubbock; four brothers, Selestino Morales of Pensacola, FL, Carmello Morales of Lubbock, Robert Garcia of Plainview, Joe Morales of Kyle; three sisters, Lupe Trevino of Kyle, Frances Morales of Kyle, Angelita Cedillo of Buda and nine grandchildren.
