Obituary

Tamera Dyane Alexander, 49, of Dumas passed away on Saturday June 19, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

Tamera was born July 1, 1971 in Dimmitt, Texas to Ronald Leo and Quenshala (Shannon) Alexander. She grew up in the Sunray and Dumas area and attended school in Sunray and Farwell. She also attended Clovis Community College. She was an activity director at the Great Plains Nursing and Rehab in Dumas for many years. She had a new found hobby for fishing and loved being in the sun. She mostly enjoyed her family time, drinking coffee and she was full of life. She had the biggest heart, loved baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. She loved her truck, her job and the residents at the nursing home.

Tamera was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Leo Alexander.

She is survived by her mother, Quenshala Stewart of Borger; her daughter, Breanna Alexander of Borger; two sons, Joel Reyna and wife Page of Dumas, Dylan Reyna of Dumas; two brothers, Ronnie Alexander and wife Betty of Dumas, Ricky Alexander of Sunray; a sister, Patti Stewart of Borger; a grandchild, Malakai Whitfield of Borger.
