Obituary

Lawrence Looney, 77, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday February 27, 2021 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Lawrence was born on December 15, 1943 in Plainview to Lee and Ernestine Looney. Lawrence had a love for drag racing and swap meets. He also had a passion for country music and concerts but most importantly love to spend time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Mike Adams and Jerry Barker.

He is survived by his children, Rhonda Hareford and husband Jimmy of Plainview, Sandy Knox and husband Karl of Plainview and Donnie Looney and wife Missy of Plainview; five grandchildren, Amanda Boger, Shanon Hareford, Caleb Knox, Camrie Looney and Sydney Knox; three great grandchildren, Haylee Hareford, Zoe Boger and Everly Rojas; two brothers, Milton Looney and Juanita of San Jose, CA and Gary Looney of Plainview and one sister Pat Adams of Plainview; five nephews and one niece.
