Obituary

Dorothy Renia Green, 59, of Plainview was called home to glory on Sunday, March 14, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 20, 2021 at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael L. White officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Dorothy Renia Uddley was born May 1, 1961 in Plainview, Texas to Jack Uddley Jr. and Bobbie Ruth Lockett (Uddley). She married Gerald Don Green January 8, 1988 in Plainview, Texas. They were together for 33 years. Dorothy worked at Sears and Roebuck, MHMR for several years and United Amigos for 21 years.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Gerald Don; her children Timothy, Dustin, Kirsten, a special adopted son Justin Johnson; four grandchildren, Whitney Delgado, Mariah Jackson, Skylar & Kyrie Green; sisters Velma (Curtis) Thompson, Sabrina Uddley, Ramona Hemphill of Plainview; brothers, Curtis (Doretha) Nash, Harold Uddley of Midland, Malcolm Eric (Rose) Nash of Amarillo; two uncles, Carl L. Lockett, Allen N. Lockett; two aunts, Marjorie Hutcherson, Brienda Middelton; mother-in-law, Doris Green; brothers-in-law, Sam (Erma) Casper, Curtis (Shaquita) Green; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Joe) Coleman, Deloris (Willie) Brooks, Marge (Herb) Martin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jack Uddley, Jr. and Bobbie Nash; sisters, Sheila, Yolanda; brother, Jackie Ray; nephews, Joe Coleman, Jr. Brentodd Wooley; nieces, Dorinda Collins Nash and Robyn Smiley
