Obituary
Margaret Lynn “Peggy” Adair went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2021 in Plainview, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Cameron of First United Methodist Church in Hale Center officiating.
Peggy was born February 1, 1938, in Slaton, Texas to Odie Ray and Alma Jewel (Gentry) Williams. She married G. Wayne Adair on August 18, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of the choir at First Methodist Church in Plainview and in Fort Worth. She enjoyed playing bridge with the bridge club of Plainview Senior Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hale Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her twin brother, Thomas Glen Williams, her sister, Phyllis Armstrong and her son-in-law, Terry Carter.
She is survived by her sons, Bob Adair and Kim of Kingston, OK, Brent Adair and Terry of Aledo, TX; her daughter, Brenda Carter and Mike Neuhold of Hale Center; a sister, Shirley Ham of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Melissa Carter, Austin (Carla) Adair, Jon (Krista) Carter, Taylor Adair, Tiffany McCloughan, Kasi (Callie) Womack, Zach (Kesha) Womack, Chris (Jennifer) Hicks; great grandchildren, Katelyn (Stevan) Martinez, Lauren Carter, Brenlee Carter, Tristan McCloughan, Tate McCloughan, Cameron Adair, Sydney Adair and Cash Hicks; a great-great granddaughter, Adalynn Martinez.
