Obituary

Nancy Jeanette Bussey, 76, of Hale Center passed away on November 2, 2020 in Plainview. A private burial was held at Petersburg Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

She was born May 19, 1944 in Childress, Texas to Eddie George and Lela Belle (Weedin) Bussey. She got her Associates Degree from South Plains College and her Bachelor Degree in Education from Texas Tech University. She taught school from 1966 to 1972 in Hereford. She then moved to Hale Center to be close to her brother and taught in Hale Center until 2004.

She is survived by her brother, James Bussey and wife Sharon of Petersburg, nephew, Gregory Bussey of Petersburg, nieces, Jennifer Bussey of Clovis, NM, Debbie Adkins of Plainview and a brother-in-law, Mike Carpenter of Lubbock.
