Jacinto “Jason” Alonzo, 76, of Hale Center passed away on October 29, 2020. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Kornerstone Chapel with Rev. George Poonely officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

A rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Kornerstone.

Jason was born August 17, 1944 to Preston and Santos (Tenorio) Alonzo. He married Mary Castillo on May 1, 1964 in Hale Center, she passed away on July 24, 2018. Jason served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed at Larson Manufacturing. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Quintanilla and husband Silvester of Lubbock; sons, Michael Alonzo and wife Mary Frances of Las Vegas, NV, Jason Alonzo and wife Norma of Ft. Worth, Chris Alonzo and wife Raquel of Rio Rancho, NM; brothers, Fernando Alonzo and wife Delia of Plano, Alvaro Alonzo and wife Margaret of Hale Center; sisters, Juanita Pineda and husband Martin of Hale Center and Frances Alvarez of Plainview; nine grandchildren, Ben Quintanilla, Mariano Alonzo, Brian Alonzo, BreAnn Quintanilla, Vanessa Alonzo, Mariza Alonzo, Avianna Alonzo, Alex Cimo and Bianca Cimo; three great grandchildren, Xander Quintanilla, Saul Davalos,III and Camila Alonzo.
