Obituary

Janie Sherllene Huguley, 72 of Plainview Texas passed to her heavenly home on January 18, 2020. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Kornerstone Chapel with Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Colonial Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 5-6 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the funeral home.

Janie was born in Panhandle Texas on November 30, 1947 to her parents William and Loree Atkinson, she had one brother Gaylon who preceded her in death. Janie was married to the love of her life, Daryl Huguley on Sept 2nd 1989. She has 2 sons and a bonus son and daughter. She has 10 grandkids and 11 great grandchildren. She loved her little grandbabies and spoiled them all. Her home was one of love, lots of country home cooking and plenty of laughter. Janie known as Meme to her babies and close friends made “Home” her passion and hobby. She believed in a spotless house, sweet desserts and plenty of card games.
