Obituary

Jesus “Jesse” Marin, Sr, of Hale Center passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 13-, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview.

Jesse was born on October 30, 1938 in Mexico to Manuel and Maria (Lozano) Marin.

Survivors include his wife, Maria (Garcia) Marin of Hale Center; his daughter, Reyna Torres and husband Moses of Lubbock; his sons, Manuel Marin and wife Fransis of Plainview, Jessie Marin, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Adam Marin and wife Kristie of Plainview; his brothers, Manuel Marin, Jr. and wife Rosa of Rule, Juan Marin of Houston, Francisco Marin and wife Sylvia of Gainesville, Raul Marin of Mexico; his sisters, Rosa Aguilar of Lubbock, Esperanza Martinez of Mexico, Delia Mota of Mexico, Carmela Garcia of Lubbock; his thirteen grandchildren with a fourteenth on the way; and one great grandchild.
