Obituary

Raquel Davila Camargo of Plainview Texas went home to be with our Lord and savior on December 13, 2020. She was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Raquel was born October 10, 1936 to Arnulfo and Susana Reyna Lopez. She married Charlie IG Davila on November 19, 1958 in Clovis New Mexico, during their 35 years together and before his passing, they enjoyed traveling throughout the southwestern United States and spending time with their families. She loved church hymns, enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking and keeping an immaculate home. She married Joe J. Camargo on April 16, 1994 in Plainview Texas.

Her son, grandchildren, extended family, and great-grand daughter were the loves of her life. She is survived by husband, Joe J. Camargo and family, her son, Charles Davila and wife Marisela of Hewitt Texas, two granddaughters, Chasen Davila of Abilene Texas, Alyssa Davila, great-grand daughter, Georgia Raquel Hope De Leon both of Waco Texas and grandson, Aaron Davila of Hewitt Texas, one brother, Arnold Lopez II, four sisters, Ruth Mitchell, Esther Arredondo, Ofelia Lopez and Elizabeth Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Arnulfo and Susana Reyna Lopez, late husband, Charlie IG Davila and sisters, Anita Carter, Rebecca Mendoza, Noemi Fitchett Cavazos and Bertha Rogers.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
