Yvette was born on June 3, 1976 to Francisco “Frank” and Mary Pedroza in Plainview, TX. She graduated from Plainview High School and went on to earn her LVN license. Yvette loved helping people and it showed in her profession. She also attended West Texas A&M and worked towards her Registered Nurse License. Yvette's interests varied wildly throughout her life; it was the little moments in life where the rest of the world stops while being surrounded by her loved ones that mattered the most to her. In her younger years, Yvette loved to pull pranks on her family and friends. Pre-quarantine she loved to go out to the movies to catch a new film, not to mention some popcorn, a pickle, and a large Dr. Pepper. Movies that were constantly on repeat consisted of “Roadhouse”, and quite literally anything in the horror genre. These movie nights are some of the best memories her family and friends have of her. She never said” no” when it came to Leal’s queso. She had a desire to do everything she could while she was here, even her illnesses never seemed to slow her down. Her passion for life was so inspiring and still is. Even on her worst days, Yvette was always a bright beautiful light and it was known to everyone around, she would constantly spread love and security without hesitation or judgement. The way she spread happiness to others, especially those that needed a loving presence, was one of her greatest qualities. With open arms, she accepted everyone that came into her life. Though she experienced many hard times, she was such a strong woman and made an effort to see the positives in life. Most of all she loved spending time with her best friend and her soulmate, her son. Matt. She was an amazing mother, and their relationship was admired by many. Their love was beautifully connected and continued to grow every day. Now that her physical being is no longer here, her soul is still present in every laugh, every movie night, warm sunny day, and in the hearts of those that love her most. Yvette was known and loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
