Emmylou was born on April 6, 1979 to George and Ermalinda Bustos in Plainview, TX. Emmylou was so beautiful inside and out and had a great smile that would light up any room. She was such a strong loving mother who had the deepest love for her children; they were her world and would do anything for them. She was our brave soldier and very protective over her family. Emmylou loved her grandchildren and was looking forward to being a part of their lives. She cherished every moment she spent with her children and enjoyed hanging out with friends. Emmylou also liked being outside listening to music. She was an avid football fan and her favorite team were the Green Bay Packers. She loved watching every game they played and was especially happy when the Packers played against the 49ers and Green Bay won!

Emmylou was her mother’s greatest gift, first born child, and big sister. We all loved her so very much and will cherish the memories left behind. She will be greatly missed by all.

Emmylou is survived by her mother: Ermalinda Bustos of Plainview; her father: George Bustos of Bryan, TX and; seven children: Santiago, Leyla and Izaya Galvan all of Amarillo, Baneza Padilla of Plainview, Jacob Galvan of Dallas, and Kylie and Brandon Bustos both of Amarillo; one brother: Joshua Fabian Bustos and wife Sheryl of Lubbock; one sister: Benita Mares and husband Junior of Plainview; and two grandchildren: Adelynn Moore and Khaleesi Galvan.
