Obituary

Isabel Ruiz ,65 of Amarillo. passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 11 o' clock in the morning on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Plainview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 8-11 o' clock in the morning on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Isabel was born on February 23, 1955 to Demetrio and Juanito Rubio in Alice, TX. She married the love of her life, Casiano Ruiz, on June 16, 1972 in Plainview. Isabel liked camping, traveling, drawing, coloring, and doing crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and was extremely fond of her grandchildren. But most of all, Isabel was a woman of God and enjoyed prison ministry. She was member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in Amarillo. Isabel was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by one granddaughter: Xandra Ruiz.

Isabel is survived by her parents: Demetrio and Juanita Rubio; husband: Casiano Ruiz of Amarillo; four sons: Casiano Ruiz Jr., and wife Maria Azalia of Midland, Juan Ruiz and wife Ines of Hereford, and Chris and Adam Ruiz both of Amarillo; two daughters: Yesenia Ruiz and husband Daniel Manriquez and Destiny Ruiz and husband Francisco Mabie all of Amarillo; two brothers: Pete and Demterio Rubio; two sisters: Mary Rubio and Belen Ramos; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
