Obituary

Claudia E. “Dia” Gausin, 37 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 o’ clock in the afternoon on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Plainview First Assembly with Pastor Nelson Gonzales. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 141. Mrs. Gausin will lie in repose from 12 until 8 o' clock in the evening on Saturday and Sunday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Claudia was born on July 3, 1982 in Iowa City, IA. She was raised and educated in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 2000. Claudia went on to honorably serve her country in the United States Navy from 2000 to 2004. Upon returning, she continued her education and graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Business. For the last seven years Claudia worked at the United States Post Office as a mail carrier. Claudia enjoyed her make up and working out. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her kids. They were her world and did everything and anything she could for them. Claudia’s smile would brighten any room and her personality was like no other. She attended Plainview First Assembly. Claudia was known by many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Camacho.

Claudia is survived by her mother: Maria Archan of Plainview; one son: Lincoln Paul Enrique Camacho of Plainview; two daughters: Kamillah Eden Gausin and Jocette Sienna Camacho both of Plainview; two sisters: Jan Gausin Sanchez and Celia Juarez both of Plainvew and grandparents: Enrique Gausin and Socorro Gausin of Plainview.
