Obituary

Manuela Solorzano, 63 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2 o’ clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anson celebrating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’ clock in the evening on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Manuela was born on September 1, 1956 to Manuel Dominguez and Maricella Dominguez in Plainview, TX. Manuela married Aurelio Solorzano in May 1984. She graduated from Plainview High School and received her CNA certification in 1994. Manuela was very outgoing and charismatic; she loved to tell jokes and make everyone laugh. Her favorite hobbies included listening to music and dancing. Manuela enjoyed taking care of others and was a beautiful loving mother and wife. She will be greatly missed.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; a son, Aurelio Solorzano Jr; a daughter, Jennifer Marie Solorzano; and two sisters, Margie Robles and San Juana Carlos.

She is survived by her husband; five sons: Micheal Aldape, Jason Aldape, Christopher Lee Aldape, and wife Jessica; John Anthony Solrozano and wife Brenda; Joe Armando Solorzano and wife Halie all of Plainview; two daughters: Melissa Ramos and husband Mark and Maria Solorzano all of Plainview; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
