Obituary
Rudy Alcozer Sr., 46 of Lubbock formerly of Plainview, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Abernathy United Church with Pastor Nathan Young officiating. Mr. Alcozer will lie in repose from 4-8 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.
Rudy was born on January 29, 1974 to Ernest Ignacio and Helen Angelita Alcozer in Lockney, TX. Rudy worked hard all his life to make sure his kids were taken care of. He cherished every moment spent with his family. Rudy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed fishing. Rudy was not selfish and was known by many people. Rudy was caring and always helped others without expecting anything in return. Rudy will be dearly missed by all. He attended Abernathy United Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rudy is survived by one son: Rudy Isaiah Alcozer, Jr. of Lubbock; one daughter: Chloe Leanne Alcozer of Lubbock; four brothers: Tommy Alcozer, Sr. and wife Anita of Plainview, Albert Alcozer and wife Diane of Plainview, Fabian Alcozer of Lubbock, and Jim Robert Alcozer and wife Sara of Minot, ND; one sister: Zoe Perez and husband Felix of Abernathy and numerous nieces and nephews.
