Obituary

Rosalio "Chalio" Torres, 74 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Funeral Service for Rosalio Torres will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Torres will be from 12:00PM until 8:00PM at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Rosalio was born on September 13, 1946 to Lucas and Epifania Torres in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was married to Guillermina Rojo. Chalio loved being at the farm and tending to his animals. He was a hard-working family man who loved his family very much. Chalio cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; Selso Torres; two brothers: Isidro Torres and Isabel Torres; and three sisters: Secaria Torres, Teodora Torres and Petra Torres.

Chalio is survived by his wife: Guillermina of the home; children: Maria Urbina and husband Marcos of Weslaco, Martin Torres and wife Veronica of Houston, Rosalio Torres Jr, Juan Torres, Guadalupe Torres all of Navasota, Belen Torres and husband Silvester Torrez of Abernathy and Elizabeth Torres Guerrero and husband David of Hart; five brothers: Elario, Marcos, Sabino, Victor and Agustin Torres; two sisters: Concepcion Torres and Margarita Torres; thirty three grandchildren and thirty five great grandchildren.
