Obituary

Jesus “Jesse” Garcia, 40 of Lubbock, passed away on August 9, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Bill Anton officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jesse was born on September 3, 1980 in Plainview, Texas to Jesus and Maria Remedios (Hernandez) Garcia. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1999 and was a manager at an Auto Care Center. Jesse enjoyed drawing, sports and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Garcia of Lubbock; his daughter, K’Lynn Rae Garcia of Lubbock; parents, Jesus and Maria Garcia of Plainview; grandmother, Angelina Garcia of Plainview; one brother, Sergio Garcia of Amarillo; and three sisters, Beatriz Garcia, Amanda Garcia and Gabriela Lopez all of Plainview.
