Obituary
Marvin L. Graham, 95, passed away on September 3, 2021. He was born in Lockney, Texas on May 4, 1926, to Parker and Jessie Graham. He grew up in the Irick Community of Floyd County. Marvin has been a resident of Hale County since 1942. He and Bettye Jean Masten were married on October 30, 1943, in Lockney, Texas. Marvin was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippine Islands. After the war, he was employed by Lilie-Hoffman Cooling Towers for 41 Years, of which 25 years were spent as the Plainview plant manager. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Marvin is survived by one daughter, Jeannie Ritter, and her husband David; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. If you were to ask him what his greatest blessing was, he would say his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye; his son, Danny; his parents, Parker and Jessie; and one brother, Eugene Graham of Mesquite, Texas.
Services for Mr. Graham will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, at 2:00PM, at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Rob Lindley officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 6:00PM till 8:00PM at Lemons Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
