Obituary

Norlene M. Razak joined her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2023 at the age of 89, in Plainview, Texas.

Norlene was born September 9, 1933, near Minneapolis, Kansas to Leonard C. and Agnes Kuhlmann.

She grew up nears Wells, Kansas and attended Wells Grade School, graduating from High School in Bennington, Kansas, as valedictorian. She completed studies at Brown-Mackie School of Business in Salina, Kansas and later attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.

During her business career she was Corporate Secretary/Treasurer of several small corporations, controller of several businesses and owned secretarial services in Hays, Kansas and Salina, Kansas.

On August 31, 1951 she married Dr. W. Nevell Razak and they had two children, Scott K. Razak of Port Angel, Mexico and Renate P. Razak Holloway of Plainview, Texas. She was also a devoted grandmother to Madeline Rose Holloway and Elliott Holloway. She served the United States Air Force, stationed in Great Falls, Montana.

Norlene is survived by her children: Scott Razak of Shoenchen, Kansas and Renate' and (Tobin) Holloway of Plainview, Texas. Grandchildren: Madeline Holloway, Plainview, Texas and Elliott (Vianne) Holloway of Great Falls, Montana. Her sister: Wanda Markley of Salina, Kansas.

She is preceded by her husband, Dr. W. Nevell Razak, 2nd husband, Wally Bludworth and her parents, Leonard C. and Agnes Kuhlmann.

Any memorials may be made to Danny Thomas St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929, in appreciation for their life-saving ministrations when her granddaughter, Madeline.

Cremated remains will be interred in a family plot at a Bennington, Kansas cemetery.
