Obituary

Kay Lynne Phillips joined her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2023 at the age of 79 in Plainview, Texas.

Visitation will be at Bartley Memorial Chapel, Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Funeral Service will be at Garland Street Church of Christ, Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 am. Graveside will follow the funeral service at Plainview Memorial Park.

Kay was born on January 22, 1943, to Raymond Martin and Mildred (Graves) Martin in Deming, Luna County, New Mexico.

Kay married the love of her life, Wilborn Leo Phillips, in Lockney on August 5, 1961. She attended school in Lockney, Texas where she graduated in 1961. She was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ.

Kay worked for Southwestern Public Service for 23 years.

Kay is survived by her three children, Scott Phillips and (Rusty) from Plainview, TX; Wade Phillips and (Carla) from Amarillo, Texas and daughter, Julie Brandimarte and (Trey) from Beaumont, Texas. And her sister Patsy Patrick and (Mike) from Plainview, Texas. She has 3 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Phillips: her parents, Raymond Martin and Mildred (Graves) Martin of Lockney. And a brother Rayford Martin.
