Obituary

Jason Frank Silvas, 41, of San Antonio, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jason graduated from Hale Center High School in 1999 and enlisted in the United States Navy right after. He was stationed in San Diego, CA on the U.S.S. Dubuque. He then went on and moved to San Antonio and graduated from Southern Careers Institute to pursue welding. Jason was so full of life and could always make you smile or laugh. He was best known for his quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and generous spirit. He was a member of Community Bible Church where he loved to share the love of God. His life was a living example of one of his favorite bible verses, Ephesians 4:32—“And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Emilio and Clara Jimenez, and Domingo and Maria Silvas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Veronica Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas and her beautiful girls; his parents: Josie Jimenez Silvas of Hale Center and Frank and Victoria Silvas of San Antonio, Texas; his twin sister Aimee Perez and husband Michael Perez of Hale Center, sister Mariah Eliserio and husband Juan Eliserio of Lubbock, Texas, brother James Morales and wife Summer Morales, and sister Emily Solis, all of Amarillo, Texas; his children he loved so much: Tanner Hauk of Denton, Texas, Matthew Cisneros, Lance Corporal Isaiah Cisneros, Zephaniah Silvas, Hezekiah Silvas, Talitha Silvas all of Morton, Texas and Abery Kitrell of McKinney, Texas. He had a numerous amount of family, from Tio’s, Tia’s, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss him dearly.
