Obituary
Don Fisher, 80, of Hale Center, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Plainview, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Center Plains Cemetery in Cotton Center, with Mr. Silas Short officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Hale Center Church of Christ in Hale Center.
Don was born June 23, 1941, in Lubbock, Texas, to Malcolm K. and Imogene (Dyer) Fisher. He graduated from Cotton Center High School in 1959. On July 6, 1976, Don married Mary Mason and they were married over 45 years. He moved to Hale Center in 2016 from Cotton Center. Don enjoyed watching the history channel and all kinds of sports. He was talented at repairing things and was always tinkering.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, M.K. Fisher, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Fisher of Hale Center, a sister-in-law, Rebecca Fisher of Wolfforth, a nephew, Michael Fisher of Midland, and a niece, Michelle Reno of Wolfforth.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Hale Center Sr. Citizens Center or to the Hale Center E.M.S.
