Obituary

Brenda Pineda Richardson, 50, of Hale Center, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Plainview, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Hale Center Cemetery, with Mr. Silas Short officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Viewing will be held from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 13, 2021, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Brenda was born August 26, 1970, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Joe and Mary (Jimenez) Pineida. On August 2, 1986, she married Lance Richardson in Hale Center. Moving back to Hale Center in 2001 from Florida, Brenda was a collector and talented artist. She enjoyed baking and her sugar cookies were the best. Brenda could make a room smile and she treated everyone like family. She loved her dogs and especially loved getting together and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pineda and her maternal grandparents, Frank and Sarah Jimenez.

Survivors include her husband, Lance Richardson of Hale Center, three sons, Devin Richardson of Greenville, S.C., Zachary Richardson of Hale Center, and Brice Richardson of Plano, her daughter, Misty Richardson of Hale Center, her father, Joe Pineda of Houston and her mother, Mary Iverson and her husband Bruce of Hale Center, and six brothers, Sammy Vera of Lubbock, Oscar Vera of Hale Center, Grant Sims of Lubbock, James Iverson of Minnesota, Robert Pineda of Plainview, and Gilbert Pineda of Minnesota. She was blessed with several nieces and nephews and five grandpups (her loving dogs).
