Obituary

Lisa Barr, 60 of Hale Center, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 9am to 5pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Lisa was born on August 3, 1961 in Plainview to Wayne and Francis (Haile) Chiddix. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1979 and earned her bachelors degree from Wayland in 1998. Lisa was a caregiver who enjoyed listening to Christian music and watching old movies. She was a member of Trinity Life Church. Her children were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with her grandson.

Lisa is survived by two daughters: Stephanie (Ruben) Diaz of Plainview and Sara Barr of Hale Center; two sisters: Melissa Campbell of Iowa and Lori Elvis of Plainview; and one grandson: Jaxson Barr.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter: Catherine Barr.
