Obituary
Robert Bradic, 80, of Plainview, died at his home on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022. Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Plainview, Texas. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.
Robert was born on April 26, 1941, in Franklin, TX to Ethel Westmoreland. Robert received the nickname “Bear” at an early age. Bear started working at the age of 5 alongside his mother who was very loving to Bear and all her grandchildren. Bear was the owner of Bradic Concrete and worked extremely hard his entire life. He tried to help anyone that he could. He employed several people who he wanted to give a new start in life until he retired.
Bear loved his family. He was a little hard on them at times and that’s how he received the name “Roc” but the best name he had was “PaPa”. He loved his grandkids, great-grandkids, and nieces and nephews. Even the neighborhood kids loved him.
Robert will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife; Thelma of Plainview, his children; Robert (Vienay) of Betonville, Arkansas, Ronnie (Hope) of Lubbock, TX, Victor (Paula), Daryl (Jill) of South Carolina, Kanitha of Denton, Caryl Jones of Plainview, Melba of Dallas, Debra (Rick) of Dallas, Wanda (Tony) of Dallas, Racheal (David), Dawn of Dallas, and Vicky of Dallas. Robert was blessed with an abundance of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
He is proceeded in death by his mother; Ethel Westmoreland and his sister; Virginia Harwell.
