Obituary

Alda Emma (Hinojosa) Lombard, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Bartley Memorial Chapel.

Alda Emma Lomard was born in Premont, Texas on April 15, 1948 to her parents, Reyes and Susana Hinojosa. She attended school in Premont and graduated from Plainview High School in 1968. She then studied at Texas Tech University. In 1970, Emma was blessed with a son, Carlos R. Gonzales whom she loved with all her heart. She began her career working at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and retired after 32 years. Emma married Larry Lombard and shared 30 years together before his passing in 2013

She enjoyed shopping reading, spending time with her friends, family, and caring for her beloved dog, Bear. She will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory is her brother; Noe Hinojosa, sister in law; Pite Hinojosa, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents; Reyes and Susana Hinojosa, brothers; Alex Hinojosa and Daniel Hinojosa, husband; Larry Lombard, and her son; Carlos Gonzales.
