Obituary

Lorenzo H. Zavala Jr., 50, of Plainview passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 surrounded by family. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Bartley Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 9 to 12 p.m.

Lorenzo was born on May 4, 1971 in Petersburg, Texas to Lorenzo and Irene (Becerra) Zavala Sr. Lorenzo was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He never missed a game, always cheered them on win or lose.

Lorenzo worked many years at Cargill until the plant closed. He then preceded to be the primary caregiver of his beloved father Lorenzo Sr.

He will be greatly missed.

Lorenzo is preceded in death by his mother; Irene (Becerra) Zavala.

Those left to cherish his memory is his father; Lorenzo Zavala Sr., two daughters; Angie Campos with husband, Cruz, and Shelby Zavala with boyfriend Israel, two sons; Adrian Zavala with wife, Kim, and Jeremy Zavala, two sisters; Debra Beck with husband, Wesley, and Cathy Zavala and wife, Anita. Lorenzo was also blessed with 9 grandchildren; Zachariah, Malackia, Jasmen, Mikaylah, Breanna, Pinks, Khadyn, Toribio Jr, and Zaiden Marvin, two great granddaughters; Mackenzie and Zoey, one nephew; Nathaniel Beck and a niece; Kennedy Beck. He is also survived by many many friends.
