Obituary

Oralia "Charlie" De Los Santos, 60 of Hale Center, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at her home. She was born in Crowell, Texas on May 27th, 1962, and was the firstborn to Robert and Angie De Los Santos. She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Robert Angel De Los Santos and her father, Robert De Los Santos. Charlie is survived by her mother, Angie De Los Santos of Floydada, Texas, sister, Diana Navarrete and brother-in-law, Jose of Plainview, Texas, brother, Noe De Los Santos Sr. and sister-in-law, Belinda of Abernathy, Texas, sister, Beth Hernandez and brother-in-law, Carlos of Denver, Colorado. A host of nieces and nephews who she absolutely adored, and her beloved Pug “Prince AJ.”

Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 2:00pm. Officiating the services is Pastor Noe De Los Santos Sr.

Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Charlie is being carried by pallbearers: Noe De Los Santos Jr, Jacob De Los Santos, Josh Salinas, John Navarrete, Royce De Los Santos, and Jackie D. Anderson, being led by Honorary Pallbearer: Audrey Ranjel, whom Charlie called “Baby Girl.”

Charlie was the most selfless person anyone would meet; she was always willing to help whenever she could. She was an extraordinary musician and singer; she played many instruments but none she would master like the guitar! She impacted so many other musicians and people with her gift, talent, kindness, and her smile. She will be truly missed by her family and so many others! Oralia, “Oreo,” “Charlie,” “Tia Lar Lar,” “Chuck,” “Ms. Brown, “and “Charlene”… we love you so much! It’s not goodbye, but we’ll see you later.
